➡️ Have You Heard of the Humane AI Pin Yet?
Time Magazine recently announced a list of the Best Inventions of 2023, and 13 AI tools got featured. Of course GPT-4 and DALL-E 3 were there among others, but there was also a tool that is not even on the market yet.👀
The Humane AI Pin is yet to be launched but has still grabbed eyeballs and recognition. And if it delivers what it promises, things look pretty exciting.
Humane is started by two former Apple executives and has already raised $230 million in funding from a bunch of investors, including Microsoft, OpenAI's Sam Altman, Tiger Global, Qualcomm Ventures, and Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff.💰️
The AI pin is a small, lightweight device that can be pinned onto your clothes and allows users to ask questions, make calls, send texts, and more with voice commands. 🗣️
It is made using proprietary software and OpenAI’s GPT.
It also allegedly has a built-in camera that can identify objects and project information on the palm of your hands using a laser projector, like calorie estimations for food items.🥗
The idea?
Reimagine smartphone screens being a necessity. 🚫📱
It first made a public appearance as part of Coperni’s fashion show during the Paris Fashion Week, and will be released on November 9.
Are you excited? I am!

🚀Entrepreneurship
How do people and businesses acquire their first set of customers?
A lot of us, myself included, start with cold emailing.📧
Yes, it's old school, but it’s a numbers game and it works.💫
The idea is to send out 5-10 personalised emails to prospect customers and leads. Don’t make scalability a concern at this stage, just focus on acquiring these first 10 people.
And after these first 10 customers, you’ve to aim for the next 100.🧑🤝🧑
Broadly speaking, you should be splitting your time between content marketing for SEO and one-off attempts at hitting traffic spikes. Think Product Hunt, Hacker News, and others.
After these first 100, find consistent distribution channels based on what worked for you to get to the next 1000. These can vary depending on the industry you’re in, so tailor-fit it to suit you best.🖥️
And even if your business isn't the next big thing yet, this is extremely achievable.🥇
And if you're stuck, go back to where you started, cold emailing :)
👔 Leadership Lifestyle
Ashleigh Hinde founded WALDO in 2017 at the age of 29, and since then, she has overcome challenges and obstacles to build a successful business that empowers women and contact wearers alike.👀
The company has raised over $10 million in funding, with $5 million in Series A funding in 2020 alone. Hinde fought through the gender bias being a female founder in the tech industry, and has remained focused on her goal.
She has spoken out about the need for more diversity and inclusion in the industry and has encouraged other female entrepreneurs to pursue their dreams. She is also a believer of strong teams and fulfilling work environments, as demonstrated here:
