➡️ Now Make Your Own Custom GPT WITHOUT Coding!
Earlier this week OpenAI held its first developer event, DevDay, and there were some major announcements. 👀
After a year of being on the market, OpenAI said that 100 million+ users are using ChatGPT weekly, which also led to the announcement of an all-new and powerful GPT-4 Turbo, an upgrade of the company’s popular GPT-4.🤖
The new Turbo model comes in two versions, one for only text analysis and one for analysing both text and graphics. The new model also has an April 2023 knowledge cut-off, compared to GPT-4’s September 2021 cut-off. 🖥️
Another announcement, however, was the highlight of the event.
Until now, the only way for consumers to submit their own data to train and customise the chatbot for certain sectors and use cases was through ChatGPT's enterprise and commercial solutions.
But now, anyone can make their own custom GPT— no coding required🤯
“Anyone can easily build their own GPT—no coding is required. You can make them for yourself, just for your company’s internal use, or for everyone. Creating one is as easy as starting a conversation, giving it instructions and extra knowledge, and picking what it can do, like searching the web, making images or analyzing data.”
Part of OpenAI’s DevDay Release
2 million+ developers using ChatGPT to build their own solutions will now be able to customise the chatbot. This means customers will likely see personalised AI chatbots cropping up in many more places, including apps and websites they use on a regular basis. 🤖
And along with this, OpenAI also announced its version of the App Store, the GPT Store, where users who design their own GPTs can make them accessible for public download. 👨
This means that people will have a range of customised GPT models to choose from, and the developers will also be able to earn money based on the usage figures of their creations!📲

🚀Entrepreneurship
Everbody knows this, but I’m a first-generation immigrant founder who has raised over $20 million. And I often have people come up to me and seek advice on how to know the right time to make certain decisions.
This is what I say:
Don’t wait until you're 90% sure before making big startup calls.⭐️
You'll move too slowly. It's tempting to wait for all the data first, to want a perfect product. And I’ve made this mistake too, where cash dropped fast as competition charged ahead with paid offerings.
And by the time we finally added paid features, it was almost too late.
Looking back, we could have decided with just 70% confidence.
Make the call fast, move quick, and change course later if needed. Because what really kills startups is standing still.
At Simplified, we have chosen to make big calls faster without total certainty.📲
Are we sometimes wrong? Of course.
But we're getting better at spotting bad calls quickly and changing course. Adapting is better than overthinking. Perfectionism slows you down.📈
Use the data you have to decide fast and adjust as you go.
Don’t get stuck chasing 100% certainty. Trust yourself to adapt, and keep going.✨
