➡️ Images and Art from Generative AI
Everyone’s used some version of an AI text tool by now, but what if you need an image? 🖼️
Simple, you generate it.
AI image generators primarily require a text input to produce a stunning, original visual output within seconds.⏲️
But how does it happen?
Quite simply, these tools use massive datasets of images for training, ranging from paintings and photographs to 3D models and gaming assets.
The image generator is then trained to identify patterns and features within these images as parameters. When the AI model is trained, it becomes capable of generating new images based on a set of parameters like style, colour and shape.
Midjourney is inarguably the best AI text-to-image generator, but if you’re not willing to pay just yet, try Simplified AI Image Generator or Jasper Art.
➡️ AI News worth Sharing: Meta Releases Llama 2
Everyone’s beloved ChatGPT now has competition!🏆️
Meta (previously Facebook) has released their own machine-learning language model in partnership with Microsoft. It is an equivalent of OpenAI’s GPT-4 and can be used to create chatbots like ChatGPT👀
Llama 2 is here, and is free for research and commercial use. It is not available on a public facing platform yet, so here are 3 ways you can still access it:
Via HuggingFace, simply open the link and start prompting the AI chatbot
Via Perplexity Labs, similar process as HuggingFace
Via Meta’s Llama access request form, if you have the technical ability to run it locally on your machine

🚀Entrepreneurship
My journey as a startup founder has taught me a thing or two about building high-performing teams and a healthy workplace culture.
Skills can be taught, but the mindset is innate. 🧠
So simple, and yet you won’t get it right the first time.
I know that, because I didn’t.
The people you build your dream with need to be:
Passionate: They are enthusiastic and driven, and they have an infectious positive energy. That ensures they go above and beyond to get the job done.
Curious: They never hesitate in asking questions and always look for new solutions and ways to improve. They are open to learning from their mistakes.
Adaptable: They can pivot and adjust to new challenges. Also, they can thrive in a dynamic and ever-changing workplace.
On the flip side as a founder, I’ve also learned with time that workplace stress is not only about the tasks at hand, but often from a lack of validation.
If you’re a founder too, make sure to acknowledge and validate your employees' contributions as a means to reduce their stress and improve overall well-being in the workplace.
Building and keeping a team comes with many rewards and learnings. We learn every day we’re at the job, from the people that surround us, and it’s okay to get it wrong a lot of times, because after that, we get it just right.🌟
👔 Leadership Lifestyle
I’m so happy to speak of one of my dear friends Arum Kang, founder of Coffee Meets Bagel, an online dating app targeting millennials. 💌
Arum has an MBA from the prestigious Harvard Business School. She was also featured on Shark Tank and had a $30 million offer from Mark Cuban to buy the entire company.
Arum and her co-founders declined the offer. Today, Coffee Meets Bagel is currently valued at $150 million.💰️
When asked in an interview about the one skill set as a businessperson she’d like to perfect, this is what Arum had to say:
I hope you have a good weekend, see you in the next one!
